Qualifications
- Essential Qualifications: Valid Transport Canada Certificate of Competency as Fourth-class Engineer certificate, Motor Ship or higher, and related experience.
- Asset Qualifications: MED STCW Advanced Firefighting Course, Marine Advanced First Aid Certificate, Watchkeeping experience, and experience with towing vessels.

- Provide engineering support to the Royal Canadian Navy.
- Operate and maintain ship's systems and equipment.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to crew members.
- Participate in ship's operations and maintenance activities.
